These are libc6 packages for Debian-PowerPC. They are meant as a downgrade
of the broken 2.3.1-17.0.1 packages.

To aid installation from weird situations, there's also a .tgz that contains
just libc-2.3.1.so and the symbolic link to it. It may help in some
situations (like booting from an install CD or some such), but it will _not_
help to downgrade the running system. Don't attempt it; you will get a kernel
panic when attempting to overwrite libc!

If anybody knows a safe and manual way to downgrade libc on a running system
(i.e. not using dpkg), let me know...
